HOME OF THE OG ALCOHOLIC GINGER BEER
Sun's out, waves firing and to end a great surf we headed to the local.
Super thirsty, we grabbed a ginger beer. It hit the spot at first, but shortly after it was far too sugary and didn't even look like a beer...
Sam and James dug deeper, hunted shelves for a PROPER ginger beer. Nothing. Just sugary flavoured alcohol or lemonade like drinks.
So we had to do something about it.
We wanted something that was refreshing, not too sweet and looked and felt like a beer.
Our journey began and almost two years later, our alcoholic ginger beer was brought to life.
FEB 2024
"SHALL WE START A BEER BRAND?"
Co-founder James' uncle had a bunch of brewery equipment he needed gone. James told co-founder Sam and they both looked at each other and said "let's do it".
APRIL 2024
75 DAY HARD
Both Sam & James completed a 75 day challenge of exercise everyday and no alcohol. They decided this wasn't sustainable and when they did eventually crack one open, it hit different - especially after a day of exercise. This inspired our brand ethos - BEST SERVED ONCE EARNED.
OCT 2024
THE "LAB"
In October, we moved into an empty unit, gave it a deep clean and set up our brewery equipment - the beginning of our lab.

THE PARTY
Founders Sam and James, with very limited brewery experience developed the first batch of The MVP and hosted an Apres NYE party where everyone could try; It was an instant hit
JUNE 2025
FIRST COMMERCIAL BATCH
The recipe was nailed, but Sam and James were not professional brewers... nor did they have the infrastructure to support demand. They found a professional brewing company to follow the recipe and make the first batch of The MVP.
JULY 2025
THE LAUNCH
We official launched our brand and debut beer from a local pub with a run club. A huge number of you joined the run and more came post run to get your hands on The MVP. The GoldenDays community was born.
DEC 2025
REBRAND
After selling out of the first batch and now having a clear idea of where the brand was going - we rebranded.
2026...
THE OG LAUNCH
Our USP, our flagship, our THE OG, our gap in the market is launching, June 2026.
