There’s a moment the locals know well. You’ve been out there, salt in your hair, arms a little rubbery from the last set, sun already thinking about dipping behind the Isle of White. You come out the water, lean the board against the groin, and breathe in that good South Coast air. That moment is what GoldenDays is for.

Why here

We started GoldenDays in the Witterings/Birdham pocket because this coastline shapes how people live. It’s a place of tide charts and wind forecasts, of early starts and golden evenings, of effort and reward. We wanted to make beer that belongs to that rhythm a beer that tastes better because you’ve earned it.

The idea

“Lifestyle-first” for us means the beer is part of your day, not the whole story. It sits naturally after a surf at West Wittering, a run along the dunes, or a hard day on the grind. It’s not fussy. It’s fresh, balanced and cold. It's all we need.

The beers

• The MVP – Crisp, tropical and built to refresh without wrecking your palate.

• We have plans to introduce a lager and our very own USP (something we can't quite reveal yet). 

Every recipe starts with a simple question: will this taste even better after a session? If the answer’s not a resounding yes, we go again.

Community, not just customers

We’re here to add to the local fabric. Pop-ups at the beach car park, collabs with local venues, run clubs and just a good bloody community! 

Are we the first here?

West Sussex has a proud brewing scene, but the Witterings/Birdham area hasn’t historically had a dedicated beer brand telling this coastal story. That’s the gap GoldenDays is here to fill.
