In spring 2024, founders Sam and James set out to redefine the beer experience...

After completing a 75-day challenge which included daily exercise, clean eating, and no alcohol, they discovered something important: not drinking at all wasn’t that sustainable… or that fun.

But when they did crack open a cold one, it hit differently, especially after a surf, a run, or a hard day on the grind. That’s when they realised: the best beer isn’t just brewed, it’s earned.

GoldenDays Brewery was born from that mindset: a lifestyle of balance, movement, connection, and the kind of beers that taste better because you’ve done something to deserve them.

Through GoldenDays, we want to inspire people to live with balance, soaking up the good stuff, and enjoying beer in a way that adds to life.

Taproom in the Witterings (and Surrounding Areas)
Despite it being early days, we’re hoping to find somewhere where we can open our own taproom in the Witterings, where you can enjoy our beers fresh from the source. Stay tuned for updates on this.

Bespoke Bottles in Collaboration with SmoothEdge
We’re hoping to partner with SmoothEdge to create completely unique, bespoke bottles using their waste which they don't use when upcycling glassware. By taking their leftover materials from the bottle upcycling process, we’ll design iconic bottles that can be reused and upcycled, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and supporting local businesses.

Run Club - "Earning Your Beer"
Every week we’re hosting a social run club starting and finishing at a local pub that serves GoldenDays beers. This initiative celebrates the essence of our brand: "Earning Your Beer." Whether you're a casual jogger or a seasoned runner, join us to get active, have fun, and finish with a well-deserved pint.
